Itinerary day by day :
|Day 01 : Arrival in Yangon
On arrival in Yangon, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, city tour to discover the ancient Burmese capital (1862-2005). First visit National museum with fine collections, rare coins and cultural exhibitions of Myanmar. Then stroll through the city center with its old colonial buildings. In the late afternoon, visit of the wonderful Shwedagon Pagoda covered with 60 tons of gold leaf,
one of the most spectacular monuments in the world.

|Day 02 : Yangon, tour around the city
In the morning, continue the guided tour of the former Burmese capital. Visit of the Bogyoke Market, formerly Scott Market, where you can find traditional products. Then take the local city “circle train” for one hour ride through the city and the rural areas around to observe the vibrant and colorful life of the local people. In the afternoon: boat transfer to Dalah, a small village on the other side of the Yangon River, ride in a rickshaw and visit of a candle factory. Back to Yangon, walk in the park of Kandawgyi Lake to admire the beautiful golden barge Karaweik, royal boat in the shape of a mythical bird.

|Day 03 : Flight Yangon / Bagan temples discovery
Board the flight to Bagan in the morning, transfer to hotel and depart to discover Bagan, the most impressive archaeological site in Asia. About forty kilometers from the left bank of the legendary Irrawaddy River, over 2000 temples, pagodas and stupas of all sizes and shapes emerge here and there, out of sight. Visit by carriage, among others, the famous temple of Ananda and that of Thatbyinnyu whose top of 62 meters dominates the other temples of Bagan. By late afternoon, watch beautiful sunset of Pyathada pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.
|Day 04 : Bagan, visit traditional villages
The day begins with the discovery of the colorful and lively Nyaung Oo market, still very authentic with its wide variety of goods like food, flowers, vegetable and dried nuts. Continue the visit to the villages of Min Nan Thu and Phwa Saw, specialized in making oxcart-wheels and lacquer ware, here you can try yourself to create some unique souvenirs for the trip.
Back to the hotel at the end of the day. Overnight in Bagan.
|Day 05 : Flight Bagan / Mandalay – city tour
Transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Mandalay, the cultural capital of Myanmar.
Make the discovery of the last royal city before the British arrival: the Royal Palace, the residence of King Mindon and his wives; Shwenandaw monastery, the most significant building in the history of Mandalay with intricate carvings in teak wood; Kuthodaw Pagoda, the largest book in the world with its 729 carved marble headstones and Mahamuni Pagoda with one of the five most revered Buddha image in the world.

|Day 06 : Mandalay & Surroundings
Take a morning tour of Jade Market then a gold leaf hammering workshop before taking a boat to Mingun. Here you visit the Mingun Bell – the largest bell in the world, Hsinbyume Paya and the unfinished Mingun Paya. Transfer to Sagaing, climb up the highest hill mount where the U Ponya pagoda is located. From above enjoy a remarkable panorama of hundreds of pagodas and monasteries perched on the hills bordering the Irrawaddy. Late afternoon, transfer to Amarapura, walk on the U Bein Bridge, the oldest and the longest teak bridge in the world, watch magnificent sunset.

|Day 07 : Flight Mandalay / Heho – Inle Lake
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho in the morning. Go to Inle Lake and take a boat trip to discover the Inle Lake. Twenty kilometers in length, this lake whose name means “lake of 4 villages” is populated by Inthas that built several villages with houses on stilts. These Inthas live, grow and move on water. Take a motor boat ride through villages and floating farms, discover the authentic life of Inthas, including original techniques of early crops (tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkins …).
Overnight in Inle.
|Day 08 : Inle Lake – flight Heho / Yangon – Departure
Free morning to relax. Depending on your schedule, transfer to Heho airport for the flight to Yangon and departure flight .
